Giving lottery players an opportunity to win what would be the country's fourth-highest jackpot.

The next drawing will be helding on Tuesday. The jackpot is huge because there hasn't been a winner in the last three months.

The 27 consecutive draws without any winner matching the six numbers have allowed the jackpot to grow from the $20 million beginning date in April.

The $790 million pre-tax prize is awarded to the winner who chooses an annuity option that pays out over 30 years in monthly installments. 

The majority of participants choose the option of cash that for the drawing on Friday is $464.4 million.

Mega Millions is played in more than 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

Lottery officials are the managers of the game from the state.
